The Four-Legged City: Urban, Nature and Animal Studies Association organized a solidarity exhibition on 30–31 May 2025 at İstanbul Manifaturacılar Çarşısı (İMÇ), spaces 5533, 5554, and 6531, in support of street animals at risk.
The Four-Legged Exhibition aimed to strengthen the solidarity between contemporary art and animal rights and protection efforts.

Responding to the call of The Four-Legged City, twenty-one artists came together to invite the public to think and act upon our shared life with animals.

In addition to being a solidarity exhibition for street animals, The Four-Legged Exhibition was also designed as an adoption and fundraising event.
Artworks donated by participating artists were gifted to visitors who made a minimum contribution to the Rescue My Companion campaign.

Performance: İris Ergül – Animal Court
30 May, 6:30 PM – Studio 5554 Terrace

This performance, reflecting on the visibility and living spaces of animals within Istanbul’s urban fabric, invited the audience to reconsider human–animal relations through seven different animal characters.

Workshop: Mask Workshop with Yıldız Güner
30–31 May, 4:00–7:00 PM – Studio 5554

Participants developed shared forms of expression through animal figures and transformed their own fables into masks.

Throughout the event, informational sessions were also held on adoption processes and opportunities to meet the dogs seeking homes within the Rescue My Companion campaign.
